Rupert comes from an archaeology background, having studied at the Institute of Archaeology at University College London alongside Waterloo Uncovered co-founders Mark Evans and Charlie Foinette.

In 2004, Rupert made a career change, moving from archaeology to working in TV, and has worked as a filmmaker ever since.  Rupert films a variety of pieces for Waterloo Uncovered including footage of the summer excavations and our programmes. His work can be difficult and fast-paced, particularly on site where there are many different discoveries needing to be filmed at all times, but Rupert finds it both challenging and rewarding.
