Battlefields Uncovered is our online but active programme for veterans and serving personnel who want to develop new skills, gain academic qualifications, and connect with others who share an interest in archaeology and the human stories in every conflict.
Explore conflicts at the Battle of Waterloo and beyond from prehistory to the present day through interactive online lectures and workshops led by leading academics. No prior experience is required, and all participants earn undergraduate academic credits through Utrecht University.
Delivered over five months, the programme combines expert teaching with dedicated wellbeing support, helping participants build confidence, expand their knowledge, and create lasting connections. Battlefields Graduates will also be supported to pursue opportunities with museums and heritage organisations or continue their academic journey.
