The Finds Programme brings our extensive Finds collection to veterans and serving military personnel across the UK. Beneficiaries are introduced to archaeology and its value in understanding the Battle of Waterloo. Through handling and interpreting objects at in-person workshops, beneficiaries contribute to key post-excavation processes and our understanding of the finds.
The Finds Programme promotes wellbeing by fostering community connections via practical engagement with archaeology and heritage. At the end of the programme, beneficiaries showcase their work to friends, family and the public at a heritage location.
